Full-Time Security Officer in Oban

Job Overview:

Earnflex is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team and protect our premises in Oban, UK.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and prevent unauthorized activities, theft, vandalism, and trespass
Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches, and investigate incidents thoroughly
Control access to buildings, check identification, and enforce access protocols
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
Report incidents, observations, and suspicious activities to designated personnel
Provide assistance and support to tenants, employees, and visitors
Maintain order and handle emergency situations effectively
Keep a detailed log of all activities and incidents
Maintain and inspect security equipment regularly to ensure functionality
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay abreast of best practices in security

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
Excellent knowledge of security principles and protocols
Proven ability to observe, identify, and report potential security risks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical fitness and stamina to handle long hours on foot
Current SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is desirable
First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage
