Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to join our team in Portree. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises, ensuring the well-being of our staff and visitors, and enforcing policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent unauthorized entry or activity
• Conduct regular security checks of entrances, exits, and other vulnerable areas
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to appropriate authorities
• Respond to emergencies and assist in evacuation procedures
• Maintain security surveillance equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
• Provide customer service and assist visitors as needed
• Keep detailed records of all security-related activities
• Adhere to relevant safety and security regulations
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times

 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 3+ years of experience in a security role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Physical fitness and ability to carry out duties at all times
• Knowledge of security best practices and regulations
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• SIA badge (Security Industry Authority) preferred
