Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team in Retford, UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safeguarding property and ensuring the safety of personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol premises to deter and prevent unauthorized entry, theft, and vandalism
• Conduct security inspections and report any suspicious activity or security breaches
• Maintain a strong and effective presence to deter crime and respond to incidents
• Enforce building rules and regulations, including access control and parking enforcement
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed
• Report and investigate security incidents, including theft, trespass, and vandalism
• Maintain and inspect security equipment, such as surveillance cameras, access control systems, and fire alarms
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and legal requirements related to security
• Work effectively as part of a security team and collaborate with other departments

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of security principles and practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to perform patrols and respond to incidents
• Valid driver's license
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is preferred
