Description Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Salisbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises and assets, as well as ensuring the well-being of employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor the premises to detect and prevent any unauthorized activities or security incidents
• Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain order and ensure compliance
• Respond to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations in a timely and effective manner
• Inspect security systems (cameras, alarms, locks) to ensure proper operation and functionality
• Conduct security checks and inspections of vehicles, personnel, and packages
• Report suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate authorities
• Provide customer service to visitors and employees, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all security-related activities
• May be required to use physical force to restrain or apprehend suspects

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong observational and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, and security protocols
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
