Full time Security Officer in Scarborough

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises in Scarborough. Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent and deter unauthorized access or activities
• Perform routine security checks, including inspections of doors, windows, and locks
• Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems
• Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and effective manner
• Provide assistance to visitors, staff, and tenants, including providing directions and answering questions
• Maintain a detailed log of security incidents and activities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable security regulations and industry best practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends
• Working knowledge of security systems and protocols
• Proficiency in computer systems and software
• SIA License (preferred)

Additional Desirable Skills

• First aid certification
• CPR certification
• Security awareness training
• Experience in crowd control and management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
