Full time Security Officer in Shrewsbury

Job Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Security Officer to provide protection and security for our facility in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding personnel, assets, and equipment, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.

Security Officer Job Responsibilities in Shrewsbury:

• Monitor and patrol premises to detect suspicious activities or unauthorized entry
• Screen and control access to buildings, facilities, and restricted areas
• Conduct background checks on individuals and vehicles
• Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergencies
• Investigate and report on incidents, gather evidence, and take appropriate action
• Provide escorts for authorized personnel and guests
• Maintain security equipment and systems, including surveillance cameras, access control devices, and communication systems
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Train new security personnel and provide on-the-job guidance
• Assist law enforcement and emergency services as required

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer in a similar industry setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of security practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to respond to emergencies
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Basic computer literacy and knowledge of security equipment
• SIA Door Supervision qualification and first aid certification preferred
