Full Time Security Officer in St Andrews

Description Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Time Security Officer to join our team in St Andrews, KY16. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our premises and ensuring the well-being of our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises on a regular basis, both internally and externally
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly and effectively
• Conduct security checks on individuals and vehicles entering and leaving the premises
• Inspect and maintain security equipment, including CCTV cameras and access control systems
• Report any suspicious activity or incidents to management
• Work closely with emergency services and other authorities as required
• Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents and activities
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• SIA-accredited security license (Level 2 or above)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar security role
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to observe and report accurately
• Knowledge of security best practices and emergency procedures
• Physical fitness to perform security duties
