Shifts: 12-hour shifts per day, following a four-on, four-off rotation.

Job Description Security Officer:

Join our team as a Security Officer in Swindon and play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. We're seeking a vigilant and dedicated individual with a proactive approach and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect any unauthorized activity within the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to respond to security threats.
• Respond effectively and swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security protocols and company policies to ensure compliance and maintain safety standards.
• Provide assistance and support to visitors and employees by addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary to address security incidents.
• Participate in training programs to enhance security skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Possession of a valid security license or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is advantageous.
• Valid SIA License, proof of the right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 5 years of employment history.
