The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises and its occupants, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitoring surveillance cameras and conducting regular patrols of the premises
Controlling access and screening individuals entering the facility
Detecting and reporting suspicious activities or potential hazards
Responding promptly to emergencies, including fire alarms and medical incidents
Assisting with the investigation of incidents and providing witness statements
Maintaining accurate logs and documentation of all security-related activities
Enforcing company policies and regulations related to security
Working closely with other security staff and law enforcement agencies

Qualifications

Accredited Security Guarding qualification (Level 2 or higher)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
Strong physical fitness and alertness
Ability to work effectively under pressure and remain calm in emergency situations
Proficiency in the use of security equipment, including surveillance systems and communication devices
Clear criminal record and ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check
