EarnFlex Ltd., is looking for a highly motivated and reliable Full-time Security Officer to join its team in Tain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, property, and visitors within the designated area.

Overview

As a Full-time Security Officer, you will perform a range of duties, including:

• Monitoring and patrolling the premises, both internally and externally
• Controlling access to authorized areas
• Responding to alarms and security breaches
• Conducting thorough searches of individuals and vehicles
• Investigating incidents and reports
• Preparing and submitting detailed security reports
• Maintaining and operating security equipment, such as CCTV systems and radios
• Providing emergency first aid assistance, if qualified

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Adhere to established security policies and procedures
• Monitor security systems and respond appropriately to any threats or anomalies
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols on a regular basis
• Ensure the proper identification and control of visitors and deliveries
• Perform bag and vehicle searches, utilizing metal detectors and other equipment
• Investigate potential security breaches, thefts, or suspicious activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed security logs and reports

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a related field
• Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends
• SIA (Security Industry Authority) approved training or equivalent
• Basic first aid qualification preferred
