EarnFlex Ltd., a leading cybersecurity firm, seeks a highly motivated Full-Time Security Officer to safeguard its assets at its Torquay office (TQ1 1AJ). The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in security protocols and a commitment to protecting the company's physical and digital environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and alarms 24/7, responding promptly to any security breaches or suspicious activity
• Enforce security policies, including access control, visitor screening, and surveillance
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding areas, checking for signs of unauthorized access or tampering
• Inspect security systems regularly, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate logs of all security incidents and activities
• Report and investigate any security violations or breaches
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
• Support with the implementation of physical and cybersecurity measures

Qualifications

• Secondary school or equivalent education with a certification in security operations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related security role
• Strong knowledge of security standards, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physical fitness and stamina to work long hours, including night shifts and weekends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
