Full-Time Security Officer | Wantage

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to provide comprehensive security services at our Wantage location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our premises.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both inside and out, to deter and detect suspicious activity
Monitor surveillance cameras and respond to alarms and incidents promptly and appropriately
Perform vehicle and pedestrian access control, including ID checks and bag searches
Enforce company security policies and procedures, including fire safety and emergency response
Report all incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches to management
Document all observations, patrols, and incidents in a detailed and accurate manner
Assist with crowd control and emergency evacuation procedures
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times

Qualifications

SIA (Security Industry Authority) license or equivalent certification
2+ years of experience in a security officer role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and ability to respond to physical confrontations
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Proficient in the use of surveillance cameras and other security equipment
