Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitoring for suspicious activity or unauthorized access
• Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, including access control and visitor management
• Conduct thorough security checks of personnel, vehicles, and baggage
• Report security incidents, observations, and breaches to management
• Maintain accurate security records and documentation
• Operate and monitor security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems
• Collaborate with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and security advancements
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions
• Proficient in operating security equipment and technology
• Knowledge of security regulations and best practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid SIA license (Security Industry Authority) or equivalent preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
