Full Time Security Officer in Whitstable

Description Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Whitstable, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and employees. This is an on-site role with a workplace type of On-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring and controlling access to the premises
• Respond to security breaches, alarms, and incidents promptly and effectively
• Conduct patrols of the premises, both interior and exterior, to identify potential risks and hazards
• Enforce company policies and procedures related to security, including access control, visitor management, and fire safety
• Monitor and operate security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, access gates, and alarms
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management promptly
• Prepare and maintain security reports and documentation as required
• Liaise with law enforcement, fire services, and other emergency services as necessary
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed

Qualifications

• SIA-approved Security Officer qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience in a security role with at least 2 years of experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid UK driving license (preferred)
