Full Time Security Officer in Wigtown

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time Security Officer to join our team in Wigtown. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at our designated site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent unauthorized entry, theft, or damage
• Perform identity checks, enforce access control procedures, and respond to security breaches
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities
• Use surveillance cameras and other security systems to detect and respond to incidents
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to supervisors and appropriate authorities
• Assist with crowd control and emergency situations
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with staff, visitors, and the public

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• 3+ years of experience in a security role
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using surveillance cameras and other security equipment
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Valid security license (e.g., SIA) is preferred
