Security Officer Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to deter and identify any suspicious activity on the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to promptly detect potential security threats.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security protocols and company policies to ensure compliance and uphold safety standards.
• Offer assistance and support to visitors and employees as required.
• Prepare comprehensive incident reports and maintain precise records of security-related activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to refine security skills and knowledge.

Security Officer job Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to remain composed and level-headed under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods are necessary.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is a plus.
