Security Officer

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at our Carlisle office (Lowther St, Carlisle CA3 8DP, UK). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and assets.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises, including checking IDs and issuing passes
Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both inside and out
Respond to security breaches and incidents, including theft, vandalism, and medical emergencies
Provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed
Enforce company security policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services
Use surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras and access control systems
Keep detailed records of all incidents and activities
Report any suspicious activity or concerns to management

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of security systems and procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid SIA license (or willingness to obtain one)
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one)
