The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises, assets, and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to premises, ensuring only authorized individuals enter
• Conduct regular patrols of the site, inspecting for security breaches, hazards, or suspicious activity
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents
• Enforce security regulations and policies, including access control, parking, and contraband restrictions
• Report any security concerns or incidents to management and local authorities as necessary
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all security-related activities
• Work closely with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services
• Undertake regular training to stay up-to-date on security best practices and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work independently for extended periods
• Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable
• First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage
