EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Greystone Park, Crewe. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for providing comprehensive security services to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, property, and visitors.

Overview

The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the designated area, deterring and responding to potential threats, and working closely with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to deter and detect potential security breaches.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access to buildings, gates, and other restricted areas, verifying identities and issuing credentials as required.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including emergencies, suspicious activity, and property damage.
• Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication with colleagues, visitors, and law enforcement officials.
• Report Writing: Document security incidents, observations, and other relevant information promptly and accurately.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Adhere to Security Protocols: Follow established security procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety and integrity of the property.
• Cooperate with Emergency Services: Work closely with law enforcement, fire services, and other emergency responders to mitigate threats and protect the workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
• Proficiency in operating security equipment and technology
• Clear understanding of security principles and practices
• Valid security license or certification (preferable)
• Physical fitness and ability to work long hours
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• Clean criminal record
