Security Officer in Drogheda

Job Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to provide physical and electronic security at our Drogheda, Co. Louth facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, visitors, and assets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security camera footage and respond to alarms
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including interior and exterior areas
• Enforce security policies and procedures
• Control access to the facility and issue visitor passes
• Conduct security checks on visitors and vehicles
• Investigate security incidents and prepare reports
• Assist with emergency situations, such as fire, medical, or criminal activity
• Maintain and inspect security equipment, including locks, alarms, and surveillance systems
• Maintain a clean and orderly appearance in the security booth
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a related role
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and ability to respond to emergencies
• Proficiency in using security equipment and surveillance systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clean driving record
