Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team at our Killarney location. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect suspicious activity
• Monitor and operate security equipment, such as CCTV cameras and access control systems
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and orderly security area
• Provide customer service to visitors and staff
• Report all incidents and observations to the appropriate authorities
• Work closely with law enforcement and other emergency services as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Physical fitness and ability to perform patrols for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Knowledge of security equipment and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

• Law enforcement or military experience
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Security Guard License (required by law in Ireland)
