We are seeking a diligent and professional Security Officer to join our team in Knighton. As a Security Officer, your major role will be to ensure the safety and security of our premises, workers, and visitors.
 

Key Responsibilities of the Security Officer in Knighton

• Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect unauthorised activity on the premises.
• Continuously monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to discover and respond to potential security threats.
• Respond rapidly and effectively to situations such as medical events, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security measures and company rules to maintain compliance and safety requirements.
• Assist and support visitors and staff by responding to requests and concerns.
• Create full incident reports and keep accurate records of security-related actions.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to address security incidents as needed.
• Attend training programmes to improve security skills and stay current on industry best practices.
   

Job requirements for security officers in Knighton

• Prior experience with security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred but not essential.
• Possession of a current security licence or the capacity to obtain one.
