Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the premises, including gates, entrances, and exits
• Conduct thorough security checks and patrols of the facility
• Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Report any unusual occurrences or potential threats to management
• Maintain security logs and report on incidents
• Assist with the implementation and enforcement of security policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and industry standards
• Provide excellent customer service and support to employees, visitors, and clients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Strong knowledge of security principles, techniques, and equipment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work extended hours
• Experience in using CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems preferred
• SIA license or equivalent security certification a plus
