Security Officer in Mullingar

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorized activities
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
• Conduct thorough security inspections and identify potential risks
• Report suspicious individuals or incidents to management
• Enforce safety protocols and rules and regulations
• Control access to restricted areas and maintain security measures
• Operate security equipment, including CCTV cameras and intrusion detection systems
• Prepare and maintain security logs and reports
• Assist law enforcement with investigations as needed
• Promote a positive and professional image of the company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer or in a related field
• Excellent physical fitness and mobility
• Clear Garda vetting (no criminal convictions)
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in operating security equipment
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
