Overview:

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets.

Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both inside and outside
• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems
• Respond promptly to security alarms and emergencies
• Control access to the premises and ensure authorized entry only
• Escort authorized visitors and employees
• Enforce company security policies and procedures
• Report suspicious activities or incidents
• Assist in investigating security breaches
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times

Security Officer Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to observe and report
• Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Proficiency in using surveillance equipment and security systems
• Knowledge of emergency protocols and response procedures
• Certified Security Officer with relevant training (e.g., SIA, ASIS) is preferred

Security Officer Additional Skills and Attributes:

• Basic first aid and CPR certification
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends
