EarnFlex Ltd., a leading financial services provider, seeks a highly motivated Security Officer to safeguard its premises and assets at its St Andrews location.

Overview:

The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the workplace, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and assets. They will work under the guidance of the Security Manager and adhere to company security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) to detect and respond to threats
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the security of the workplace and identify potential hazards
• Enforce company security policies and procedures, including access control, visitor registration, and incident reporting
• Respond promptly to security incidents, such as alarms, suspicious activity, or emergencies
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required
• Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports
• Assist in the implementation of security plans and initiatives
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Security Management or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Security Officer in a similar environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of security equipment and technology
• Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly to emergencies
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for observation
