Security Officer in Ventnor

Overview

EarnFlex Ltd. is seeking a proactive and experienced Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises in Ventnor, Isle of Wight. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures. This full-time position is based on-site and requires a reliable and punctual individual with a proven track record in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including entrances, exits, and common areas
• Enforce security regulations and respond to alarms and incidents
• Conduct regular security inspections and report any suspicious activities or potential hazards
• Provide access control and manage keys and electronic security systems
• Greet visitors, direct them as needed, and maintain a professional demeanor
• Assist with emergency response procedures and evacuation protocols
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation related to security activities
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Officer
• Strong understanding of security principles, procedures, and equipment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness to perform basic security duties, including patrolling and responding to incidents
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred)
