Job Description:

We are searching for a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our team in  Ashbourne. As a Security Officer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our facilities, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect unauthorized activities on the premises.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to discover and respond to potential security threats.
• Respond promptly and effectively to situations such as medical events, fire alarms, and security breaches.
• Enforce security processes and company rules to guarantee compliance and meet safety standards.
• Address visitors' and employees' questions and concerns.
• Create comprehensive incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related actions.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required to handle security issues.
• Participate in training programs to enhance security skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

Job Requirements:
 

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related industries is recommended but not necessary.
• Possession of a current security license or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response methods is beneficial.
• Valid SIA license, proof of right to work in the UK, proof of address, and 1-2 years of work experience.
